Last night Barack was on World News Tonight with Charlie Gibson. Charlie asked him about the accusations that he was "palling around with a known terrorist." This was his response:
"Why don't we just clear it up right now," Obama told ABC News' Charlie Gibson in an exclusive interview for World News. "I'll repeat again what I've said many times. This is a guy who engaged in some despicable acts 40 years ago when I was eight years old. By the time I met him, 10 or 15 years ago, he was a college professor of education at the University of Illinois . . . And the notion that somehow he has been involved in my campaign, that he is an adviser of mine, that . . . I've 'palled around with a terrorist', all these statements are made simply to try to score cheap political points."
Obama said that the McCain campaign is making personal attacks "the centerpiece of the discussion in the closing weeks of a campaign where we are facing the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression and we're in the middle of two wars."

Thanks for sharing! I totally missed the interview.
1He.. is.. AWESOME!
2I'm sorry Gibson even asked him the question though - every time the conservatives leave a pile of poop in the road, we shouldn't all have to stop and consider it.
3But now they can't accuse him of not answering the question.
4"But now they can't accuse him of not answering the question."
But they will -- just like when McCain says that Obama won't admit that the surge worked. Obama admitted on ORiley that the surge worked "beyond our wildest dreams" -- but if we did go to war with Iraq in the first place there would have been no need for the surge.
The McCain camp hears what they want to hear.
5They hear what they want to hear and then they say it over and over again until the sheep believe it Dream!
6I just don't understand the yardstick being used in this campaign. They're playing this whole gult by association with Obama, but no one is talking about Todd Palin's membership in the Alaska Independence Party. How about the fact Gov. Palin made a speech wishing them luck just this year. How unpatriotic is a group wanting to leave the union?
McCain had a proven relationship with Keating, not mention his wife's father did business with him as well. Sorry, about the rant, this whole Ayers thing is annoying, when the DOW continues its roller coaster ride daily.
Because Girls like horror too!
